Mr. Kurt Doelle, the instructor for the WDHS Student Video Program at Dearborn High, has figured out a new way to raise money for his class. Money is always needed.
They are going to sell stock in the new movie that they are making. You buy the shares and you give a donation to the class. Good idea!
You will hear more about it as we proceed. So save your money and watch your wallet because Gibb is after it!
Here is a song that I had played for years and years on the radio by Cat Stevens, "I Love My Dog". I met Cat when I went to London. We had dinner together and then drove over to The Royal Albert Hall to see a rock group called Grapefruit which was being promoted by The Beatles at that time. The Grapefruit was a little bit fruity, but meeting Cat Stevens was terrific!
Take a look at this song and you will understand why I always played it on my show.
Donna was on her knees picking up pieces of paper and garbage that the kids had thrown down near the trash bin at the hot dog stand in The Henry Ford Museum when I first noticed her. I called her over and started a rant about her buns, hot dog buns that is, and their lack or steamy goodness. This was the beginning of a wonderful encounter and conversation with Donna a local Detroiter who shared not only her hair styling techniques, but also her talents as a personal representative/ambassador of the joys at
The Henry Ford Museum.
Needless to say, that Jenny and I were delighted.
Give this hardworking lady a raise!
