There certainly are moderate Muslims, but there is no moderate Islam. During World War 2 there were moderate Germans, but no moderate Nazis. The moderate Muslims would no more stand up to the Jihadists than the moderate Germans of World War would have stood up to the Nazis.

Here is a question that I wonder about: How do so many in the world agree to live under a repressive religion? Especially, how does any woman old enough to walk away STAY a Muslim? Cassius Clay converted to Islam , but his wife told him goodbye at that point. Giving up her freedom just wasn't on her 'to-do' list.

You are confusing Muslim and Islam. Islam is the religion. A Muslim is someone who follows the Islamic religion.

Any good Muslim will tell you that Islam is not just a religion - it is everything. It likes to disguise itself as a religion. The Westernized definition of religion falls short of describing Islam. It disguises itself as a religion. It is really more of a political ideology.

Obviously you and I know many peaceful Muslims. Sadly, our peace loving friends are apostates in their professed religion. In countries where Shari'a law exists they would be punished harshly for being our friend, living in peace with us, and neglecting their duty to take up jihad against the infidel(that's you and me).

And no, jihad is not JUST a struggle. Don't take my word for it. Read what the Qur'an says about Islam, its followers, and the rest of us infidels.

Not every Muslim is a terrorist, but every terroritst is a Muslim. How can the Islam religion be a peacefull religion, when they believe to destroy all who do not believe in what they conceive is correct. Islam is wrong no matter how you look at it.

D. Shaw, they are heretics, not apostates. An apostate is someone who converts out of a religion. A heretic is someone who still calls him/herself a member but disagrees with the church/ mosque line.
