Welcome back Uncle Russ! I agree 100% with you. Why not run for President yourself? Keep Tellin' it like it is. Cheers to your health!

I was listening to Sean hannity today and he had a woman on the show who approached Hillary about her husband and his antics with the women. Apparently there are several women who have come forward accusing Bill of groping among other more serious offenses.

This doesn\'t bode well for Hillary as she is a feminist. The media has yet to ask any hard questions of Hillary. They would rather talk about the \"trophy\" wives of the republican candidates... how demeaning for all women.

And they want to limit talk radio!!!!!

PS. Excellent podcast.

Russ, I found this on a web mag Policio today. Fits in perfectly with your comments about PR media types running our political parties.
Leaders are instructing Democratic lawmakers to blitz their states with anti-Bush messages as the Senate gears up for an all-night debate on Iraq withdrawal, according to an internal memo provided to The Politico by a Democratic official.

“We need every Senator’s help throughout the next two days to amplify our message and highlight Republican obstructionism, says the memo from the Senate Democratic Communications Center, part of the office of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (Nev.). “This is a caucus-wide effort and your help is needed.

mr Gibb,

One thing is certain, until an American government is put in place which stops being soft on terrorism, we can expect to see more and more of these acts of terror happening.

Something drastic needs to be done to remove the threat from our country.

Not all muslims are terrorists, but as more time goes by, it becomes more and more apparent that nearly all terrorists are muslim.

Nice to see you again, Russ. I was wondering where you were and how life was treating you these days. I had the shingles about 2 years ago myself and it put me in the hospital for a few days. About 6 months after I got out I starting hearing about the immunization shots. Figures. I agree about the Press and Guide covering the Heights way too much. All of their reporters live there or something? Regarding the bias in the media ... every time I read that one posters comment "I stopped reading the Free Press years ago", I can't help but think "How is the Free Press putting bias on all of the killings in Detroit?" Seriously though, such a small percentage of what they report can even be biased that I wonder why someone can't just not read those articles much as everyone else doesn't read things that they aren't interested in. Besides, until we have robots reporting the news will we ever have a non-biased report? PEOPLE run news organizations and PEOPLE have opinions.

This is true and can be checked at

Muslims Out of Australia

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

Russ here is another "waste in goverment" for you. From politico web site.

Republican Rep. Jeff Flake of Arizona, the fiscal crusader who's never met an earmark he likes, questioned Democratic Rep. Peter J. Visclosky of Indiana on the House floor Tuesday about whether the Center for Instrumented Critical Infrastructure actually exists - since, hey, it's getting like a million bucks or something.

Visclosky, who chairs the spending subcommittee responsible for the project, had to admit that, well, he didn't have a clue.

After a lengthy back-and-forth, Flake, complaining that his staff couldn't find a website for the center, asked Visclosky, "Does the center currently exist?"

"At this time, I do not know," the Indiana Democrat replied. "But if it does not exist, the monies could not go to it."

And who could possibly be the sponsor of such an earmark? Yes, you guessed it, the man Republicans love to hate, Pennsylvania Democrat John P. Murtha.

Despite the money's uncertain destination, the House rejected Flake's measure to strike the funds, 326-98. And the Visclosky bill also sailed through, 312-112.

As I said, what's one million dollars to a member of Congress?

UPDATE: I failed to report last night that a certificate filed with the requested funds says the money is actually earmarked to Concurrent Technologies Corporation, a nonprofit technological consulting firm. A brief search of campaign finance records shows CTC President and CEO Daniel R. DeVos, of alternately Central City and Johnstown, Pa. has contributed $7,000 to Murtha's reelection campaign since April 2002.

Please stay on top of the bad cop story. You are our voice, because you have watchdogs, that we aren't privy to. Good Health.

Dear Russ,

Barack Obama, has been running as a candidate for change. Perhaps now it's time to remind everyone of his changing positions on Iraq, as well.

Today, Obama supported legislation requiring most U.S. troops to be out of Iraq by April 30, 2008.

But in 2004, Obama said that a quick withdrawal from Iraq would be "a slap in the face" to the troops. And in 2006, he said that he did "not believe that setting a date certain for the total withdrawal of U.S. troops [was] the best approach to achieving" our goals. [click here to see videos]

In May of this year, Obama promised to provide critical funding for the troops. His exact words:

"[W]hat you don't want to do is to play chicken with the President, and create a situation in which, potentially, you don't have body armor, you don't have reinforced Humvees, you don't have night-vision goggles."

Then, just weeks later, he voted against the emergency Iraq spending bill that would have provided critical funds for body armor, mine resistant vehicles, and to help combat IEDs.

By his own admission, Obama understands that our enemies will wait us out in Iraq.

But, with today's comments, it seems clear that he's more concerned with pandering to the left wing of the party than standing by his previous statements.

Contact Obama here, and ask him to put the security of the nation and the safety of our troops above politics.

Hi Russ,

Do what Mustafa says. Stay on the bad cop story. Don't listen to the bad guys. They just cause your taxes to go higher. Keep doing a good job reporting all of bad stuff.

Unfortunately, Russ, the ex-mayor isn\'t the only one under investigation of our public servants. There is also an active investigation into the double dealings of one of our council members . You may recall this was in the papers for a while about a year ago. That wasn't the last we will hear of that either. Looks like there was more then one dishonorable elected official in our city...
