Good News

Dear Russ, I have been an avid reader of the site for some time. It seems that most of the postings are so negative and devisive-so let me accentuate the positive for a moment!!! I want to talk about a neighbor family that I never met until recently. I am a single Mom to two little boys and it is hard to mow the lawn with an infant!! I can't exactly strap him to the mower-one of my friends asked a boy she knew in my neighborhood if he could mow for me free of charge. He agreed-he and his Dad come down and mow,edge,and weedwack-and they have done so all summer. It is wonderful to see neighbors eager to help those in need-just to be helpful. I won't mention my neighbor's name-I don't know if they would mind but ALL would know of his Dad. So let's all try to remeber the positives about our city, schools, and neighborhoods. Maybe we could mention some good and take a break from dwelling on the bad! Grateful for good friends, family, and neighbors!!!
